So, “What is the real secret to success?”
Already mentioned it in the first sentence.
Again, it’s to:
Getting Back Up
One More Time
Than You Fell
Nothing more, nothing less.
The real secret to success is to stop looking for secrets. There are no shortcuts.
You have to put in the work.
You have to get back up one more time than you fell.
And, remember: It only takes one “yes” to move you from failure to success.
A fine line.
Today, you may be perceived as the biggest loser alive…
…The next day, you may be perceived as the ultimate winner.
What matters is that you keep going—no matter what.
On top, it’s crucial you keep believing in (and keep staying true to) yourself.
Had I ever given up, I wouldn’t have been here speaking to you.
- Had I given up when I was bullied at age 13, I would’ve probably killed myself.
- Had I given up when a school teacher told me my English was terrible, I would’ve never developed the desire to get good at it. (A true blessing in disguise!)
- Had I given up when it got difficult during my gap year abroad, I would’ve never met the amazing friends I have today (and would’ve still been super awkward in social situations nowadays).
Fortunately, I didn’t give up. (That’s not my character.)
I kept going.
I kept challenging myself and conventional wisdom.
(Still do all of ’em.)
People will judge you no matter what you do.
You, however, do not need permission from anyone but yourself to go out there and live your life how you want to.
So, decide today to live your life the way you want to.
