So damn much of my current growth and personal development I attribute to Vodafone and their on-the-job sales training.
hard as hell… I admit that. It ain’t easy. (Who said that?)
I don’t want the villa, cars, tons of money, bitches, etc—now :)
I want the journey, and I want to keep enjoying it. Every single day anew facing my fears of being confronted with people who’re constantly complaining about this and that… Or even if they had to pay one cent too much.\
If you’re social anxious, shy as fuck, have low levels of self-confidence, or whatever else holds you back to live life the way you fucking want to live it…
…Consider getting work in retail sales or face-to-face customer service.
It helped tremendously because it forced lil Mario out of his (comfort) zone and helped developing valuable life skills at the same time.
Or let’s say it this way.
If I had to choose between big paycheck now vs. practical experience in sales/marketing (with lower salary), I’d always go with the latter. Maybe not much now, but waaaay more down the road—in all areas of life, coz skill development and self-mastery.
By the way, reason #1 why I’m doing what I do now; instead of studying in Amsterdam for 4 years to get a “degree”… yours truly is doing his traineeship thang.
