The Book That Changed My Life Forever

February 14, 2018

changed my life

More than five fucking years ago…

…We go back to the year 2012 (Dec 27, 2012 to be exactly)…

…To come to an astounding truth.

Donald J. Trump, yep the President of the U, S and A, changed my life—in a very, very, positive way. Who’d imagine that, huh?

No one, really. I know.

Lots of bad mouthing out there. For no particular reason, unfortunately.

Yes, he might be a racist.

Yes, he might have fake hair.

Yes, he might actually be retarded.

But where do we get this kind of information?

TV?

YouTube?

The news (in general)?

Ya…

Done a real, in-depth research on his history/character/career?

I highly doubt it when it comes to people speaking ill of him… as if they knew him privately. They don’t.

Anyway, here’s my story in a nutshell.

I was in my last year of high school in Münster, Germany. Couldn’t see a fulfilling future for myself. Couldn’t picture myself studying (just for the sake of studying), and working in the corporate world later. I was completely clueless…

…And I hated reading non-fiction books.

Well, books in general.

One day, however, I came across one book that changed my whole perspective on life. You have to know that—back then—my life was shit. Like, total shit. Absolutely miserable.

I was socially anxious, insecure, shy. In short, awkward would be the best word to describe myself.

[At the same time, I wanted to become good with women. Especially with one specific woman. I learned it the hard way (much later!) that in order to become good with one woman, you need to become good with women in general. And I was infatuated with one girl in particular for about seven years, but never really talked to her. How embarrassing is this? I was ashamed for this for a long time… now, I don’t care. Why? Because I changed. Myself and my life.]

Hated to read and learn (thanks to all boring high school teachers and boring school nonsense!). Funny, because I’m now back in school and it really encourages laziness again.

Back to story.

Then, I read Think Big by Donald Trump at the end of 2012. Up to this point in time, I never heard of him. I had no idea who he was except of a song title from a Mac Miller mixtape.

What did I learn that was so life-changing, you may ask yourself now.

In one word, fascination.

Fascination for thinking big and passion for life. For personal growth and professional development, as well (that is, becoming your best self and maximizing your potential). Living a meaningful life, eventually.

As always, I don’t recommend anything I haven’t used myself and (yes) there’s no affiliate link here.

I just recommend you go get it and actually read it to improve your future direction.

Once again, it’s called “Think Big and Kick Ass In Business and Life.”

By Donald Trump.
