You’re THE ONE who gives meaning to any situation.
There really isn’t such a thing as “positive” & “negative.”
It’s what you make of it.
Yes, it’s YOU who chooses how you want to feel.
The same applies to “the past” & “the future”—one is already gone and the other may never be.
It’s about this present moment. You only live here & now.
There’s nothing else.
Sounds discouraging? Far from it.
Look, you could use it in your favor if you asked a different set of questions.
THINK ABOUT IT:
- Why not use your past to re-engage with empowering memories & emotions. (You could even re-write your life story and, in doing so, heal old wounds. Besides, you can always decide to start anew.)
- Why not use your creative mind (and your vivid imagination) to create a compelling vision for your future.*
- Why not view whatever happens in your life as a necessary step on your journey; as a challenge that helps you become a better person and live a more fulfilling life (and not as something that should never have happened)?
*Who do you want to be and what do you really want to do?
Want to have a stress-free life?
Develop a positive attitude, be grateful for whatever happens (and has happened), and choose empowering emotions only.
