Love this quote by Paul Jarvis.
Labels are for jars, not people.” –Paul Jarvis
We all take up roles (or shall I say masks?) and try to fit them.
We don’t realize that that’s the exact reason WHY we lose our uniqueness, are inauthentic, and don’t help anyone.
Whether you see yourself as an HSP (a highly sensitive person), an introvert, an extrovert, an INFJ (hey, you’re cool!), a father, a mother, an entrepreneur, a college student, … whatever.
Stop that. Stop the madness.
Stop labeling yourself (and avoid those who label you like your life depended on it…)
…Because it DOES.
Better ask yourself, Who am I really? (and, Who do I want to become?)
Remind yourself that you are … well, YOU. There’s no one like you—and there never will be. Get that. You’re here for a reason. You have unique characteristics unlike anybody else. Find out what you’re naturally good at.
The main reason most people are unhappy & unsuccessful is because they try to be someone they’re not. But you are different.
Think about, What ONE skill do you want to develop this year?
For me, it’s writing. (It’s my #1 priority.)
What is it for you?
