I believe feeling depressed is a good thing. (No irony.) We only need to learn to merely FEEL it fully and—then—do the exact opposite; find out what we really want to do with our lives.
Further I’m a strong believer that any kind of mental illness, depression, or anxiety is caused by an imbalanced perspective. To neglect the present moment; what IS actually happening right now. To neglect who you really are and what you’re capable of.
It’s a signal from your body to remind your being off course.
Bring your attention back to the present moment. Ask yourself:
- “Who am I really?”
- “What are my unique strengths, gifts, and talents?”
- “What do I really want to achieve and contribute?”
- “How do I want to live my life from now on?”
Believe me, asking yourself the right set of questions and seeking answers relentlessly is all you need to do to set yourself free. Why?
