“How To Find Your Life Purpose”
Most people make this such a GIANT THING in their lives.
Sure we as highly sensitives are always trying our best to finding meaning and fulfillment in the things we’re doing …
…But overestimating the definition of our life purpose is nothing but a big GIGANTIC excuse.
That’s the truth.
If we look in the mirror, we have to admit it.
It’s lame excuses like “I can’t live a purposeful life right now, because in order to do so I need to have accomplished X” or “In order to live my purpose I need to be more successful.”
See, you’ll never get to your life purpose if you don’t redefine it as something you can start LIVING IMMEDIATELY – and that’s it.
That’s the key.
You’re not finding your life purpose, you choose it for yourself. And here’s another thing:
Most of the time, your life purpose is choosing you more than you’re choosing it.
Got it?
Choose something that is meaningful to you and that you can start living into – TODAY.
Too abstract?
Let me give you an example:
For me, my ‘current’ life purpose (‘current’ because your purpose is constantly changing; that’s another reason why it’s better for you to redefine YOURS as something YOU can live today) is the following.
“I’m the best and most present, authentic & empathetic person I can be, I create and add massive value to other people on a consistent basis, and I develop and grow myself so that I might inspire others to develop and grow themselves.”
I could also say:
“I help highly sensitive people rediscover the best within themselves and embrace their special nature so that they can attain happiness, and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.”
See, I can live both of them at the same time. Or I can just choose ONE of them.
The second one is more specific, whereas the first one is more general.
If you asked me, I’d create BOTH because it helps you NOT ONLY define a ‘life purpose statement’, BUT ALSO reminds you WHY you’re doing what you’re doing – short- and long-term.
Choose something you can start living TODAY.
Wishing you well,
–Mario
