ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

October 3, 2016

Having an attitude of gratitude means to be grateful for life itself.

To be thankful and grateful for everything there is.

Duh, I know.

But this stuff saved my life.

Look:

Without cultivating an attitude of gratitude in my own life (and passion, as I talked about yesterday), I would have never changed my life for the better.

Never. 100% sure about that.

The good news?

It’s waaaaay easier than you may think.

See, gratitude (like passion) is a state of mind.

Now guess what? No state is fixed; it’s fluid. You can consciously decide to change your current state. (Read: change your life).

No matter what you’re experiencing right now—may it be anger, fear, frustration, depression … yes even depression—it can be changed in an instant by a conscious choice. Which means: You are in charge of your own life.

Remember.

When you’re grateful …

…You can’t be fearful. Why?

Because it’s impossible to feel two contrasting emotions at the same time.

You got to choose ONE. (Choose wisely.)

That’s why I say:

Being grateful for what we already have in our lives can give us a whole new perspective on life itself. So, what are you thankful for today? What are you looking forward to this week, month, the rest of this year … your lifetime? Really think about it. And then do it: Express your gratitude.
