Be Kind … Make A Difference

February 2, 2016

Making a difference doesn’t have to be this BIG, HUGE thing.

It can be something small.

In fact:

Make A Difference

Many little acts of kindness combined achieve far greater results (i.e. positive impact and influence) than this one big thing.

Straightforward

Think, What can I do TODAY that helps another person?

What happens oftentimes, is that we’re so much in our head that we don’t see the endless opportunities we get every single day to make a difference and help others deal with their day a little better.

What CAN we do?

Can’t think of any specific way to make an impact in another person’s life?

Don’t feel bad about you.

There are endless opportunities missed. (I’ve been guilty of this, too.)

Here’re some:

  • We don’t realize (or dare) to talk to the stranger next to us and give him (or her) a nice compliment.
  • We don’t realize the person behind us in the queue (at the checkout counter in the supermarket) with much more groceries and let her go first.
  • We don’t smile and say Thank you while ordering at a restaurant.
  • We don’t listen to a loved one when they need us most desperately (even if it’s “just” to listen, which is a huge thing BTW!).
  • And the list goes on…

Now, it’s your turn—make it better.

How?

Help ONE person TODAY!

Remember:

Even a small act of kindness can make a huge impact in another person’s life.”
