FULL OF SHIT

January 18, 2016

Most people are full of shit.

Most people say X, but do Y. Here’re a few examples:

  • Most people say they want to lose weight, but eat fast food (plus, they don’t work out properly).
  • Most people say they want to find their soulmate, but stay the same.
  • Most people say they want to be productive, but are afraid to tackle the intimidating task FIRST (thus, wasting hours on distractions).
  • Most people say they want to have more energy, but are sleep-deprived.
  • Most people say they want to be physically stronger, but make lame excuses and watch television instead.
  • Most people say they want to … , but … (You get the point.)

Is humanity evil? I don’t think so.

It’s more a matter of commitment and willingness to do whatever it takes. And most people aren’t, apparently. They want the easy-cheese way, the quick fix, the immediate pleasure … not realizing that we have to embrace both sides of the coin.

  • If you want to find your soulmate, you have to be good with the opposite sex in general.
  • If you want to become more confident, you have to learn how to face rejection and forgo other people’s approval.
  • If you want to make more money, you have to increase the value you can add to other people’s lives (sometimes this can take YEARS).
  • If you want to be a great artist, you have to master your craft (and you do this by practizing EVERY SINGLE DAY).

You see why most people aren’t committed and willing to do whatever it takes?

It’s HARD.

Beyond, it’s easy and convenient to make excuses. However.

It doesn’t improve your life.

Just beware

In dealing with other people and trusting them:

Listen, but only look at their actions.

Then, trust them only if their previous actions and words are congruent.
