I have no freaking clue.
All I can say is this.
It doesn’t matter; it matters that we focus on long-term results.
Everything else is secondary.
You form new habits to get better results. Period. Plus, you need to discard short-term pleasure to get these results (think: getting even greater pleasure in the future = results).
And you cannot not stop.
(Re-read that last sentence again.)
You get it?
Once you begin a new activity, make changes, create a brand-new habit…
…There’s no way back.
You got to commit—daily, life-long.
Think lifestyle.
Be sure you really want to do this. Be sure you know what’s at stake (your desired future). Be sure you are willing to give up some stuff you love to do (forego short-term pleasure). And, be sure you are willing to do what you hate (short-term pain to gain long-term pleasure). Are you ready?
If not, we need to work on your perspective.
Or, you better give up now and avoid unnecessary suffering :)
Look.
What’s better—pushing yourself every single day anew to higher levels and performance, or coasting along making excuses/feeling bad about yourself?
Bitch please.
(Nobrainer!)
Anyway…
No matter how you decide, one thing’s for sure; you can’t have it both ways.
So choose wisely.
