SUMMARY

There’re two main sorts of so-called “HSP Survival Tips”:

  1. They tell you that (ALTHOUGH) you’re highly sensitive and there’s basically nothing wrong with you, you have to adopt to your environment. It seems reasonable because they present you A LOT of survival tips for HSP like “wear sunglasses.” or “find a balance between creating too much stimulation, which causes anxiety, and too little stimulation, which results in boredom.”
  2. They tell you that there IS something wrong with you (in their eyes). They give you advice on how to change and be more socially accepted (not mentioning that you waste your potential and the very reason you’re here on earth: To make your unique contribution, may it be as an artist, writer, entrepreneur, cook, whatever).

I’ve always been thinking that there had to be a BETTER way, because I couldn’t fake who I was without feeling guilty and ashamed. And guess what? There IS a BETTER way!

How does it look like?

Well … there’s A LOT to talk about and I can’t go over every single piece in this video … BUT I want to give you this:

HSP Survival Tips SUCK! (Go For Thriving Tips)

“Hey everybody, it’s Mario here and let’s talk about why survival tips SUCK.

So, what are survival tips in the first place?

So there’re, to my mind, there’re two different sorts of survival tips.

The first one is:

‘Hey you gotta try to fit in your environment, yeah, you’re highly sensitive but just try to stick with all these other people… you just … look… you just need to, eh, adopt some kind of rules and here and there you should really take a break there … and look that you’re not so much emotionally charged … and do meditation, and visualize, and …’

You know what I’m talking about, right?

And, on the other hand, you have these people who tell you like:

‘Hey survival tips is like … look what you’re doing is … ok you’re a highly sensitive person, but what you actually should do is just behave like everybody else here, yeah? Don’t think you’re kind of special person … yeah … because you aren’t! You’re someone … you just think you someone with like special needs, or whatever?’

Yeah?

And, then, they try to tell you ALL the things like how easy it is to just ‘have fun’ and ‘be outgoing’ and just don’t take anything ‘too seriously’ …

But we both know that this ISN’T possible for people like us.

For highly sensitive people it’s NOT POSSIBLE to just say like:

‘Hey, I’m just having fun and I don’t get too overwhelmed.’

Because we’re constantly analyzing all the things we get exposed to ……… our COMPLETE environment, EVERYTHING that comes to us … we’re already –always and already– … yeah experiencing it with much more depth and with much more details and we sense it more clearly than other people …

…And therefore, we get overwhelmed really easily when we DON’T focus on the RIGHT THINGS.

And therefore, I think, instead of survival tips … why not look for “Thriving Tips”, yeah?

Why not look for ways where you can really NOT ONLY say like:

‘Hey, it’s ok to be highly sensitive, there’s nothing wrong with me. (Which is the truth.)’

BUT to really say:

‘Hey, that’s AMAZING! I really embrace that special nature. There has to be a deeper reason. (And –by the way– there is a deeper reason why you’re highly sensitive!)’

But in order to cover ALL these things right now in this video here … oh man, that would go wayyyy beyond the scope of this video here.

But what I want to just tell you is:

Once you really get clear on ‘Hey I want to live my life with my highly sensitive nature… and really honor it. And really feel good.’

I already created an article for you which is about the ten reasons why you should really, yeah not only should but why you CAN honor your highly sensitive nature!

And with these ten reasons I think you get A LOT out of it … I have the link below this video, and if you wondered –by the way– ‘Hey Mario, why hasn’t there [been] so many videos the recent times from you?’

… Well, it was because I was actually contemplating a lot and networking with other people and just yeah exchanging ideas … just to see like how I … how can you REALLY help highly sensitive people IN THE FIRST PLACE.

What’s most important for them?

And my approach was really … because I’m … if you don’t know me, years ago I was a complete shy person, I always felt like something was wrong with me … and even once I got clear like I was a highly sensitive person … there was sooo much stuff to figure out, just how can I live my life … how can I be more self-confident.

And there’re universal laws or strategies you can rather say, just put it blankly:

Self-help. Self-development.

There’re so many great strategies you can just use by utilizing books from other people or visiting seminars or just meeting people who are already successful in the area you want to & learn from them.

And that was what I did most of the time … yeah during my one-year stay in Australia.

If you don’t know it, I traveled from … after finishing high school, I traveled from Germany to Australia (just to making it short here) and it was meant to be a kind of ‘Working Holiday’, but it more turned out for me to making my first steps into entrepreneurship, learning from people who were (like from a money perspective) six to seven figure earners, and also of course people who were not in that range.

But I just learned and absorbed all these great ideas like a sponge… I really wanted to know ‘Hey, how do you do this? And how do you think?’

Not this kind of ‘How can I survive with this or that?’

Then I also got these strategies how you can shift your focus to the things that are most meaningful in your life … and the things you’re really grateful for …

…And ok, there’s so much to talk here and I don’t want to confuse you at all …

…But these are strategies I thought everyone should know … and especially highly sensitive people.

But now I found out what highly sensitive people really need in the first place is that they understand ‘Hey I’m highly sensitive, and that’s ok… that’s GREAT, I have a special nature, I have special needs, special talents … and I just have to develop and grow them, and also myself OF COURSE then.’

And I do this by just some basic principles and THEN I stack on top these more ‘self development / personal growth stuff.’

And, eh, once I got clear on that … now I can honestly tell you that I’m really looking forward to the upcoming videos … and I’m really looking forward FOR YOU, because you know this:

I’m NOT shooting these videos or any kind of blog post, or products & services … I DON’T do them for myself.

Yeah, I don’t coach people, for example, just in order to feel great about myself and ‘Oh yeah … (and whatever).’

No.

I’m really looking forward for these life transformations that happen. That’s just so incredible for me that it doesn’t matter where you are right now.

Yeah, you are in charge.

You … it might take a long time, but if you do something every single day and you have your goal in front of you, or your big vision or whatever it is for you … your dream … (there’re so many words for it) … your life really transforms …

…And it can transform so quickly!

And for me my life really transformed in less than one year.

And, eh, not only that I’m sooo thankful for it … I just feel so blessed for what I’m doing right now AND for what’s coming in the upcoming weeks and upcoming days …
