Mindfulness meditation

Want to know how I stay focused and present?

How to be more productive (and more relaxed!) throughout the day?

And how you can too?

Here it comes.

Doing a form of mindfulness meditation.

While there’re different forms and methods of doing these meditations…

…One that works best for me at the moment are the free meditations by Calm.com on YouTube.

Up to ten minutes long, with gentle reminders to get back to the present moment. Additionally your brain receives inspirational advice like:

We end up getting caught up in daydreams about things we have no power to change. The past is over. It’s already happened. We can’t change events that have already occurred. This is why the present moment is the only one that matters. We have the choice to let go of worrying about the past and instead focus on the present. And the things we do have the ability to change.

Or, as the guys at Calm.com state, A daily meditation practice helps with lessening anxiety, worry and stress, while enhancing self-esteem and self-acceptance. It also improves resilience against uncertainty and adversity.

What else do you need?

(Maybe your favorite food… I don’t know.)

In essence, it doesn’t matter which mindfulness meditation technique you choose. Choose the one that works best for you—and stick with it.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I recommend you give it a try for at least 30 days straight.

You won’t regret it.

You can always quit, but quitting is the easy way out. Never forget that. The harder—but waaaay more effective—way is to stick with something that matters. Will you accept this 30-day-challenge?

Up to you,

–Mario
