…Is Writing. Writing well.
It’s much harder than it sounds—and I suck at it.
But that’s normal when you begin. It’s about the little (invisible) improvements on a consistent basis (daily) that lead to big results (mastery). That’s what I’m after: Self mastery—mastering myself. Becoming my best & most authentic self, so that I AM a man of value & service to others.
That’s what I AM most passionate about.
But why writing?
I’m on this amazing journey of self mastery now for over half a decade.
Unlike most people who have a blog, I don’t consider myself a blogger. I don’t hide behind a computer screen. I’m out there pro-actively learning new things, experimenting, applying, and taking action. I don’t like to talk, I do.
So, why writing?
In short: To help YOU.
Here’s a little bit about myself:
It all started in a dark place where I was ready to kill myself (needless to mention that I hated myself and life). I was shy, timid, anxious. Then, I ended up traveling from Germany to Australia for one year leaving everything behind. (I was 20 years old back then.) This trip turned my life around. I rediscovered the best within me, gained invaluable life experiences, learned how to make friends with complete strangers (and in the process met hundreds of like-minded people), found my life purpose, started my first business … I could go on and on, but I hate to sound like I’m bragging; I’m not. I just want to show you what’s possible. So I stop here.
What’s for sure is that I feel grateful for life ever since.
Now I want to give back.
Writing well helps me communicate more effectively with people; to help them as best as I can. I want to help YOU as best as I can.
PLUS: Writing is one of my key strengths. Being a rather introverted man, this comes more natural to me than speaking. Unfortunately, I never allowed myself to do it more often. Now, it’s different. I fully embrace who I truly am.
(Further I’ve heard that writing helps you think more clearly, and vice versa.)
What’s stopping YOU?
There are so many reasons, eh excuses, for not doing it. Fear, doubt, negativity from other people, discouragement, hate. You name it.
But I keep on going. Like I always do. I never never never give up. I’m going to get there (becoming an effective writer), no worries about me.
Ok. Enough about me. What about you?
What are your priorities for this year? Have you thought about that?
Really. What’s MOST important and meaningful to you?
OR: What do you REALLY want?
Is it to…
- Spend more quality time with your family?
- Make like-minded friends?
- Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people?
- Enjoy your own company (no matter where you are)?
- Find your soulmate?
- Have more energy during the day?
- Be more confident?
