Interesting…
A few days ago, I read an article online.
In this article, the author stated that once you started traveling and went places you would find out that many things you heard about a specific area/country/culture are simply not true.
Here’s an example (not from the article):
What comes to mind when you hear “Germany?”
- Punctuality
- Correctness (rules, regulations, etc.)
- Structure and Organization
- Insurances
- Football
- Food (sausage, bread, … BEER)
- And some more…
What’s definitely NOT true is being punctual. DB (i.e. Deutsche Bahn; major German railway company) is almost always late. You can even scratch the “almost” … since only in very rare occasions they are on time.
If you have ever been to Germany and used them, you know it’s true.
Fucking retarded, if you ask me.
Therefore I avoid them like the plague.
Unfortunately, I made an exception yesterday—and waited around 30 minutes (plus an additional hour on the way back home).
It sucks.
But you have to deal with it, and make the best of the situation.
So what did I do? I kept a cool head.
How?
Well, I give most of the credit to my ongoing personal development.
Plus, I had a LOT of stuff to do.
That’s another supercool trick; if you can’t get shit done at home (or your workplace) … take your work with you—and do it whenever there is an unexpected interruption (i.e. waiting for a delayed train).
Guess when I wrote the email you’re reading right now? Exactly.
With my Note 4 at hand; while I was waiting on the platform.
For ongoing personal development training that helps you not only become more productive, but also keep a cool head and stay focused (no matter what’s going on around you)…

P. S. Just came to mind…
Tomorrow I’m going to go by train—again.
Anyway, I’m prepared for the worst case scenario.
And if required, I WILL use my jedi knight powers. (Well, kind of.)
