Ten Things I Hate

September 12, 2016

Hate can be a very powerful emotion—if we use it wisely.

Look. It can give us greater insight into what it is we really LOVE.

And, though I’ve been through a lot of advanced personal development and mindset-shifting myself …

…I believe it’s the wrong approach to get rid of negativity, hate, and ego.

Why? Because I found that, especially hate, can be a great motivator to change your life for the better; to live a meaningful life that’s just right FOR YOU.

But. Emotions like hate, disappointment, fear, anger, etc. … they have to be tamed and channeled correctly, so they DO work for (and not against!) you.

NOTE: If you want to know how to EXACTLY use negative emotions for good, scroll down and click the link below to subscribe to my advanced monthly training program, “Meaningful Life Mastery Monthly.”

In the following, my personal top 10 things I hate the most.

(Don’t be surprised about the following list. Since I’m an INFJ, this list is going to look very different from what you might expect.)

Anyway. Here we go:

  1. Small talk. Or, talking just for the sake of it. Urgh!
  2. Peer pressure.
  3. People-pleaser to the utmost extreme. (I was one of them, and it ain’t easy to get rid of it completely. But you can always do something daily.)
  4. C-R-O-W-D-S. This alone drains my energy, incl. big social gatherings. Controversially, I love being in big cities.
  5. Doing things that are “FUN.” I don’t know why, but I don’t get it. Partying, smoking, drinking till you can’t walk no more, and a bunch of other activities … they ain’t no fun to MMMontreal. Anyway, what’s fun to me is doing quiet activities: Writing. Listening to great music. Playing video games. Having a conversation with a good friend (or two). Being grateful for life. And so on—that’s fun!
  6. People who don’t have a fucking clue about basic human psychology, who haven’t accomplished anything worthwhile in their own lives … and who are now trying to tell you what you should be doing. That’s why I made it a point to only listen to people who’ve been there done that. You should do, too.
  7. Next, posed photos and staged photography. Isn’t it obvious how fake this is? Yes, be professional. But don’t be such a perfectionist that you lose all your authenticity. Be who you really are—every single day.
  8. Another one: Being interrupted. Though I’ve become better at getting back on track, so to say … it’s still a major challenge.
  9. Group text messages. As a result, I don’t use any messenger app besides Facebook Messenger. Whatsapp? No I don’t (anymore). Why? Because most of the time, it’s neither important nor interesting. Put plainly, it’s a massive distraction.
  10. Kylo Ren. Who thought him up? Really. Up to now, I can’t take him seriously. Hopefully, they come up with a real villain in the next Star Wars movie (like Darth Vader, Darth Maul, or even Count Dooku).

So here we have it.

These are the ten things I absolutely hate.

I suggest you now list your own top 10 (if you haven’t done already).

Now, what to do about this list?

Simple.
