Today is the day…
…Where I finally get to it.
Over the past 26 days I’ve been consistently posting daily blog posts as well as emails. The point? I made it a point to force myself to deliver. To show up. To write.
It’s true when they say, “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” Why? Because showing up (or doing what needs to be done) is what success sets in motion. In other words, if you don’t put in the work, don’t expect anyone else to do it for you. Here’s what sets winners apart from losers, in my humble opinion.
Winners focus on winning; losers focus on not losing.
Big difference.
Huge, huge, huge!
It’s a complete different mindset that sets into motion complete different actions—and results. Since we cannot control everything, let’s do focus on what we can control with 110% of our efforts.
We might not be able to achieve certain sales goals for the month (because of seasonal fluctuations, Facebook/Google algorithm issues for ads, wrong customer targeting, et cetera…), but we might be able to put in the work anyway. In spite of temporary setbacks we can still push forward and keep going, no matter what happens. If we ever get laid off of a job we absolutely love…
…We can still start anew.
It’s not the end of the world (although it may seem like it at first).
Last but not least, we can create our own opportunities.
We don’t need to wait for approval, ever. No permission required.
And that’s why I’m not here sitting around telling myself any longer, “Why am I not getting started creating these damn videos.”
Instead, I now start recording them for you.
